Teak wood is known for its strength, resistance to moisture and atmospheric influences. In addition to its high technical, operational and physical-mechanical properties, teak wood is also preferred from an aesthetic point of view. In addition to its aesthetic appeal, teak wood also has many advantages – it is resistant to a wide range of temperature changes and ages relatively slowly. The teak wood used in the furniture we offer is class A, which is the best teak on the market, with an SVLK certificate guaranteeing the origin and controlled harvesting of the material.
Maintenance and storage of garden furniture
Teak garden furniture is delivered unfinished. If the furniture remains unfinished, the wood will weather over time and take on a pale gray color. It is recommended that it be treated with a special protector before use as a protective measure against mechanical and atmospheric influences. Teak wood is a natural product and therefore continues to change. This means that small cracks may develop due to the natural drying of the wood. For proper storage during the fall and winter months, it is best to keep them indoors or under a cover. If you use a cover, make sure it is raised high enough to prevent condensation or mold and mildew from forming.
