COPENHAGEN extendable garden table
Copenhagen garden table, extendable, with teak wood top and powder-coated aluminum legs, capable of withstanding all weather conditions. The table has additional modules that make it extendable to an impressive 243 cm in length. The design is inspired by Scandinavian urban life, where clean and attractive design goes hand in hand with home comfort. The table can be used both outdoors and indoors. The design duo Strand+Hvass, creators of the collection, have combined the elegance of aluminum and the South American aristocracy of teak wood in a fantastic way in Copenhagen. Functionality is expressed in the many variations of furniture applications that the collection offers. The only requirement is to give free rein to your imagination.
Quality characteristics
Teak wood is known for its strength, resistance to moisture and atmospheric influences. In addition to its high technical, operational and physical-mechanical characteristics, teak wood is also preferred from an aesthetic point of view. Teak wood also has many advantages β it is resistant to a wide range of temperature changes and ages relatively slowly. Teak wood is WWF-GFTN certified, which guarantees the origin and controlled harvesting of the material. Powder-coated aluminum has several advantages over regular liquid-coated aluminum from a functional and aesthetic point of view. The use of this method ensures a good layer, uniformity of the coating, and guarantees reliable anti-corrosion protection of metal surfaces. Powder coating is also much more resistant to impact and scratching. The result is beautiful, long-lasting surfaces achieved through a harmless technological process.
Maintenance and storage of garden furniture
Teak garden furniture is delivered unfinished. If the furniture remains unfinished, the teak wood will weather over time and take on a pale gray color. It is recommended that the wood be treated with a special protector before use as an additional protective measure against mechanical and atmospheric influences. Teak protector can be ordered in addition to the portable table. Teak wood is a natural product and therefore continues to change. This means that small cracks may develop due to the natural drying of the wood. At the beginning of the product's life cycle, teak may release natural oil, so it is advisable to avoid placing a chair with a cushion under a teak table, for example, to prevent possible staining of the cushion. For proper storage during the fall and winter months, it is best to keep them indoors or under a cover. If you use a cover, make sure it is raised high enough to prevent condensation, mold, and mildew from forming.
