The DROP garden kitchen bar counter is made of certified teak wood. Teak wood is known for its strength, moisture resistance, and weather resistance. In addition to its high technical, operational, and physical-mechanical characteristics, teak wood is also preferred from an aesthetic point of view. Teak wood also has many advantages – it is resistant to a wide range of temperature changes and ages relatively slowly. The teak wood used in the furniture we offer is WWF-GFTN certified, guaranteeing the origin and controlled harvesting of the material.
Maintenance and storage of garden furniture
The teak garden furniture offered by Exteriors is delivered unfinished. If the furniture remains unfinished, the teak wood will patinate over time and take on a pale gray color. It is recommended that the wood be treated with a special protector before use as an additional protective measure against mechanical and atmospheric influences. The teak protector can be ordered in addition to the selected teak furniture. Teak wood is a natural product and therefore continues to change. This means that small cracks may develop due to the natural drying of the wood. For proper storage during the fall and winter months, it is best to keep them indoors or under a cover. If you use a cover, make sure it is raised high enough to prevent condensation, mold, and mildew.
