Maintenance and storage of garden furniture
Teak garden furniture is delivered unfinished. If the furniture remains unfinished, the teak will weather over time and take on a pale gray color. It is recommended that the wood be treated with a special protector before use as an additional protective measure against mechanical and atmospheric influences. The teak protector can be ordered in addition to the portable table. Teak wood is a natural product and therefore continues to change. This means that small cracks may develop due to the natural drying of the wood. At the beginning of the product’s life cycle, teak may release its natural oil, so it is advisable to avoid placing a chair with a cushion under the table, for example. For proper storage during the fall and winter months, it is best to keep them indoors or under a cover. If you use a cover, make sure it is raised high enough to prevent condensation or mold and mildew from forming.
