KOTA garden lounger
Garden lounger with clean lines and a stylish combination of aluminum and natural teak. It consists of separate elements that can be combined as you wish. Thanks to the use of high-quality materials, the furniture from Suns' KOTA collection can remain outdoors all year round. The frame is made of high-quality industrial-grade aluminum. The tables are made of teak – a strong, weather-resistant and durable type of wood.
Quality characteristics
KOTA furniture is made of teak wood, which is designed for outdoor use: strong, weather-resistant, and long-lasting. Over time, the original color of teak wood will turn into a warm gray, which is part of its charm and character. If you do not want to achieve a gray effect on the wood, it is recommended to treat it periodically with teak oil, which will preserve its natural color. The cushions are made of quick-drying foam, which has an open cell structure for easy water drainage and ensures optimal air circulation. The cushions are covered with premium water-repellent and weather-resistant Sunproof® fabric, which makes them easy to clean and ensures quick drying after getting wet.
Maintenance and storage of garden furniture
To preserve the natural color of teak wood, it is recommended to treat it with teak oil. Regular cleaning of the fabric is important to prevent the accumulation of dirt from fallen leaves, pollen, and other debris, which would become difficult to remove over time. Cleaning is done with a soft cloth or brush and soapy water. For stubborn stains, wash carefully with a stain remover, preferably Vanish Oxi Action, or wash the cushion covers in a washing machine at 30 degrees. It is important to leave the cushions in an upright position when not in use, as this ensures good drainage, minimizing the risk of mold and mildew growth. During the fall and winter, it is recommended to store your garden furniture in a dry and well-ventilated place or, as a last resort, cover it with a cover. Make sure that the cover is positioned so that it allows for good air circulation, which will prevent condensation from forming. You can order the appropriate cover together with your chosen garden furniture.
