KOTA furniture is made of teak wood, which is designed for outdoor use: strong, weather-resistant, and long-lasting. Over time, the original color of teak wood will turn into a warm gray, which is part of its charm and character. If you do not want to achieve a gray effect on the wood, it is recommended to treat it periodically with teak oil, which will preserve its natural color.
Maintenance and storage of garden furniture
To preserve the natural color of teak wood, it is recommended to treat it with teak oil. During the fall and winter, it is recommended to store garden furniture in a dry and ventilated place or, as a last resort, to cover it with a cover. Make sure that the cover is placed in such a way as to ensure good air circulation, which will prevent condensation from forming. You can order the appropriate cover together with your chosen garden furniture.
