The STRINGTON garden chair was designed by Danish designers Foersom & Hiort-Lorenzen with the primary goal of combining luxury, comfort, and durability. The choice of materials and contemporary look emphasize the Scandinavian design. The chair is made of extremely flexible, woven fiber and textile cushions, which ensure that it can be left outside in all weather conditions without worrying about its maintenance. Cane-line weave® fiber is elastic, and its hand-woven construction ensures optimal comfort, long life, and easy maintenance. Quality features
STRINGTON garden furniture is designed and manufactured from the unique, weather-resistant Cane-line Weave® fiber or Cane-line Soft Rope and textile cushions. They ensure that the furniture can be left outside in all weather conditions without worrying about maintenance. Cane-line weave® fiber (similar to rattan) and Cane-line Soft Rope® rope are elastic and durable materials, and their hand-woven construction ensures optimal comfort, long life, and easy maintenance.
Practical and comfortable, the quick-drying cushions are suitable for all weather conditions thanks to the special QuickDryFoam® technology. It ensures good drainage and air circulation, which prevents the appearance of mold and mildew. The foam is upgraded with soft filling, wrapped in a water-resistant inner cover and finished with a special outer fabric. All this allows for optimal protection of the fabric in case of rainfall, allowing only 10% water permeability. The fabric is Cane-line Air touch, which combines the softness of interior fabrics with the durability of fabrics designed to withstand extreme weather conditions.
Maintenance and storage of garden furniture
Regular cleaning of the fabric is important to prevent the accumulation of dirt from fallen leaves, pollen, and other debris, which would become difficult to remove over time. Cleaning is done with a soft cloth or brush and soapy water. For stubborn stains, wash carefully with a stain remover, preferably Vanish Oxi Action, or wash the cushion covers in a washing machine at 30 degrees. It is important to leave the cushions in an upright position when not in use, as this ensures good drainage, minimizing the risk of mold and mildew growth. During the fall and winter, it is recommended to store the furniture in a dry and well-ventilated place or, as a last resort, cover it with a cover. Make sure you place the cover so that there is good air circulation underneath it to prevent condensation from forming. You can order a suitable cover together with your chosen furniture.
