FLIP folding garden table
Garden table, part of the beautiful FLIP collection – teak furniture designed by the STRAND+HVAAS design studio. Flip is a new interpretation of classic folding tables with an emphasis on superior design and quality. With its soft lines and warm glow, teak furniture can be mixed and matched with the rest of the Cane-line collections. The collection includes two sizes of folding rectangular garden tables and folding chairs. The ideal table for narrow spaces with limited storage space.
Quality characteristics
Teak wood is known for its strength, resistance to moisture and atmospheric influences. In addition to its high technical, operational and physical-mechanical properties, teak wood is also preferred from an aesthetic point of view. In addition to its aesthetic appeal, teak wood has many advantages – it is resistant to a wide range of temperature changes and ages relatively slowly. The teak wood used in the furniture offered by Navun is WWF-GFTN certified, guaranteeing the origin and controlled harvesting of the material.
Maintenance and storage of garden furniture
The teak garden furniture offered by Navun is delivered unfinished. If the furniture remains unfinished, the teak wood will patinate over time and take on a pale gray color. It is recommended that the wood be treated with a special protector before use as an additional protective measure against mechanical and atmospheric influences. Teak wood is a natural product and therefore continues to change. This means that small cracks may develop due to the natural drying of the wood. At the beginning of the product's life cycle, teak may release its natural oil, so it is advisable to avoid placing a chair with a cushion under a table, for example. For proper storage during the fall and winter months, it is best to keep them indoors or under a cover. If you use a cover, make sure it is raised high enough to prevent condensation or mold and mildew from forming.
