PARC rocking chair
A rocking chair from the Parc collection that brings comfort and coziness to any space. It is part of a collection of designer teak furniture suitable for outdoor spaces, designed by the Danish design studio Foersom & Hiort-Lorenzen. It is made of certified teak wood and powder-coated aluminum, which guarantees the furniture's resistance to outdoor weather conditions. It is suitable for use in small and large spaces, whether outdoors or indoors.
Quality characteristics
Teak wood is known for its strength, resistance to moisture and atmospheric influences. In addition to its high technical, operational and physical-mechanical characteristics, teak wood is also preferred from an aesthetic point of view. Teak wood also has many advantages – it is resistant to a wide range of temperature changes and ages relatively slowly. The teak wood used in the furniture offered by Navun is WWF-GFTN certified, guaranteeing the origin and controlled harvesting of the material.
Powder-coated aluminum has several advantages over regular liquid-coated aluminum, both functionally and aesthetically. This method ensures a good layer, uniform coverage, and reliable anti-corrosion protection for metal surfaces. Powder coating is also much more resistant to impact and scratching.
The result is beautiful, long-lasting surfaces achieved through a harmless technological process.
Maintenance and storage of garden furniture
The teak garden furniture offered by Navun is delivered unfinished. If the furniture remains untreated, the teak wood will patinate over time and take on a pale gray color. It is recommended that the wood be treated with a special protector before use as an additional protective measure against mechanical and atmospheric influences. Teak protector can be ordered in addition to the selected teak furniture. Teak wood is a natural product and therefore continues to change. This means that small cracks may develop due to the natural drying of the wood. For proper storage during the fall and winter months, it is best to keep them indoors or under a cover. If you use a cover, make sure it is raised high enough to prevent condensation, mold, and mildew.
